The Country Freeze Story
In 2022, Shannon and her partner relocated to beautiful Koah on the Atherton Tablelands where they could enjoy a bit more space and be a little more self-sufficient. While on maternity leave, Shannon’s lime tree produced an abundance of fruit, so Shannon started researching ways to preserve the limes and stumbled upon freeze drying. She soon became obsessed with the idea and shared her findings with her sister-in-law, Latoya who lives nearby in Biboohra.
The two decided they had to give it a go and ordered their first freeze dryer. They soon fell in love with it and couldn’t wait to share it with everyone. Country Freeze embodies the wholesome country life with modern technology and tastebud delights.
As the business has taken off, it has allowed both Shannon and Latoya to quit the jobs they weren’t enjoying and spend more time with their families.
